  • Help to Buy is a UK government programme that aims to help first time buyers, and those looking to move home, purchase residential property

  • You will be required to put down a minimum of a 5% deposit
  • The Government will provide an equity loan for up to 40% of the purchase price; this loan is interest free for the first five years of owning your property
  • Participating banks include; Aldermore, Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Halifax, Leeds, Lloyds, Nationwide, NatWest, Newcastle, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander, Teachers and TSB offer London Help to Buy

  • Two forms of identification are required by each purchaser:
    1. Proof of Address (POA)
    2. Proof of Identity (POI)
  • Please note that both are required for each purchaser’s name on the sales contract and must be valid within the last three months.
  • All ID documents must meet the purchaser’s solicitors’ requirements.
